Carol Campbell

Carol Fusia Campbell is the President/CEO and founder of Chicopee Industrial Contractors, Inc., commonly referred to as CIC. An industrial contracting company established in 1992, specializing in providing the highest quality of service in plant relocations, machinery installations/riggers, millwrights and industrial construction. CIC has relocated machinery and plants locally, in the Northeast, nationally and internationally.

A degree from the University Without Walls at UMASS/Amherst in Organizational Leadership, a background in marketing, sales and human resource management, and an experienced project manager, Carol and her team have developed a corporate culture in which all employees are stakeholders in the organization. With a concentration on customer service and quality of service Carol and her team work to provide The Permanent Solution to their customer Temporary Problems.

In addition to her role as President and CEO at CIC, Carol has contributed numerous hours to the regional business community and area non-profits. Currently Carol serves on the following boards - Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts - Director and serving on the Executive Committee; WestMass Area Development Corporation, Director and serving on the Executive Committee; The Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce; Director (Past Chair) and the Associated Industries of Massachusetts, Director. In addition to these leadership roles Carol is currently a member of the Audit and Finance Committee for the Community Foundation and served as a member of the Finance transition team for the City of Chicopee with the election of Richard Kos as the mayor. Carol is also a past president and member of the Chicopee Rotary, served on the Chicopee VNA Board and was on the Board of Corporators for Chicopee Saving Bank.

Carol and her team have received the following awards and recognitions: 2001 - Paul Harris Award from Chicopee Rotary; 2002 Business of the Year by the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce; 2005 - Chicopee Savings Bank recognized CIC as a Business of the Year at its Annual Board of Director and Corporators meeting; 2005, 06 and 07 - recognized as one of the Top 100 Woman-Led Businesses in Massachusetts; in 2006 and 07 - recognized at Super 60 - Revenue Growth.

Four years ago Carol set a challenge for herself to run her first half marathon. She has run in four Disney Half Marathons and numerous 5K and 10K events throughout the valley.

Carol takes great pride in her company and the team she has created but her true pride and joy are her two granddaughters, Julia 9 and Bella 4.

In addition to training for her half marathons, Carol enjoys boating, dance, aerobics and her dog, Abigail, a Lasso Apso that goes to work with her every day, attends board meetings and greets visitors at CIC. Carol resides in Amherst.
